KXIP VS SRH Head to Head

SRH vs KXIP Head to Head IPL Record – Who will Climb the Point Table?

While the teams are trying to make their way in the top qualifiers of the IPL table, Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad are still struggling to reach at least the mid squabble. Stuck in the last and second last position, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings will face each other on 25th September 2021 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

PBKS, in their last encounter with Rajasthan Royals, lost in a nail-biting match which was exciting until the last over. The fans saw a high-octane match where the final over changed the face of the game when Kartik Tyagi defended four runs to win the match for his team. In the exact match, Rajasthan Royals scored 185 when batting first against the Punjab Kings. However, PBKS made a fantastic start while maintaining a good run rate, but the RR swiped off the victory by a closer cut in the final over and put PBKS on the losing end.

This loss brought the PBKS down on the table.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, lost their previous match to Delhi Capitals, where SRH batted first in the match and reached 134 in 20 overs with no player of the team remaining. On the side of a well-oiled Delhi Capitals, Shikhar Dhawan gave an amazing start to the team with 42 runs. The lead was carried forward by Iyer and Pant, who led the team to the win by 67 runs to take the edge by eight wickets.

In this match, Sunrisers Hyderabad will try to bring their best game forward that will add to their lone victory in the 2021 Indian Premier League against PBKS on Saturday. It will be hard for SRH to make it to the playoffs as they are currently at the bottom of the table with only one win out of the seven games. Moreover, there have been a lot of amendments in the SRH team, and they have made some significant changes in their leadership by appointing Kane Williamson as their captain.

Before the second leg of IPL, the team lost wicketkeeper-batsman Jonny Bairstow and announced Sherfane Rutherford as a replacement. To their disappointment, Rutherford also traveled back to the West Indies due to some unavoidable circumstances.

While SRH is struggling with the team, PBKS are in for an act of revenge after facing a two-run defeat in their first game in the second edition of IPL against Rajasthan Royals.
